Eibne SajjadADRL regularly collaborates with Eibne Sajjad, an architect and co-founder of Mountgetaway and Jugaar Adda. Their philosophy of design and architectural practice is based on the Maker’s Space approach. The Mountain Studio internship program was hosted by Mountgetaway.
KNIP
Karachi Neighbourhood Improvement ProgramThe Karachi Neighbourhood Improvement Program is a World Bank funded project. KNIP is an organization run by the local government of Karachi to ‘beautify the city of Karachi”. ADRL has initiated internships for students to expose them to governing and designing bodies of Karachi. We have also developed the design identity for their closing walk held on the boat basin, and has designed a souvenir book to illustrate the projects they have worked on.
UNDP / IBA
United Nation Development Program / Institute of Business AdministrationADRL was the official stakeholder representing academia on the United Nation Development Program/Institute of Business Administration Karachi project called Access for Justice for Human Resources in Informal Settlements of Karachi from August 2021 to October 2022. ADRL also shared resources such as reports of informal settlements that students had worked on earlier.
